Greta was born and raised in Hoenn by her parents who were both Fighting-type specialists, whom taught her everything she knows. Unable to become a Gym Leader due to there already being one in Hoenn, she decided instead to work towards becoming a leader of the Battle Frontier, eventually becoming the leader of the Battle Arena in Hoenn, and the only Arena Tycoon in the Pokémon world.
The Alexis Saga[]
Greta's first appearance was in The Adventure Begins where she met Lexi and Gary, deciding to join them on their journey. Throughout her time with the group, she captured a Mankey. She later left the group when they ventured to Unova after being offered an opportunity to train as the next KantoFighting-typeGym Leader, which was attempting to become an official Gym.
Greta later reappered in Best Wishes where she was coming to aid a rancher whom had being having issues with a Mienfoo. Lexi had also turned up willing to help, in which the two helped the Mienfoo calm itself and become controlled. After the Mienfoo was captured by Lexi, Greta left once again.
She later appeared to help Lexi against the Ghetsis Initiative in M03 and M04.
