Kalos region (Japanese: カロス地方 Karos-chihō) is a region of the Pokémon world. It is far away from Johto, Hoenn, Kanto, Sinnoh and Unova.
Professor Sycamore is the resident Pokémon Professor and gives Trainer's a choice between Chespin, Fennekin or Froakie as their starter Pokémon.
Cities, routes, and other locations
Kalos has 7 towns and 9 cities and a Pokémon League. The region also has 22 different routes, which are passages permitting Trainers to travel from one location to the next with relative ease. Due to the distance from other regions,
Kalos's route numbering system resets to Route 1. The region consists of land and water routes. The region includes a large metropolis, Lumiose City, as the 'hub' of the region.
